Who We Are

  • Three Nuts is a passion-driven brand focused on crafting premium-quality nut butters and decadent chocolate confections made with nut butter. We emphasize small-batch production to ensure every jar delivers the best taste, nutrition, and texture possible. Our mission is to bring clean, honest food to your pantry, while exploring the unique and diverse spectrum of flavors that the world has to offer.

  • We are based out of Black Mountain and Bat Cave, NC in the community of Broad River (we are literally split between two towns, as we straddle the county lines of Buncombe and Henderson!).

    We are currently producing out of WNC Foodworks, a shared commercial kitchen space located in the WNC Farmers Market in West Asheville.

  • We produce nut butter with intention, mission and story in mind. That means quality with flavor, community, and collaboration.

    In addition to producing the utmost quality that honors nutrition and flavor, we believe in the importance of recognizing and elevating each individual nut variety's complex characteristics. We never blend anything in a batch that is not intentional and meant to elevate the overall characteristics of the nuts and any additional components. We're purists at heart and we want to make sure when we say "Pistachio" you are really getting Pistachio!

    No peanuts. While we are avid peanut butter lovers over here, we chose this path for a couple reasons:

    1. It's been done and conquered! There are so many amazing and delicious peanut butters out there giving us exactly what we need and want.
    2. Allergens. We only work with tree nuts to reduce cross-contamination in our facility. Ground nuts have very different food and safety risks, and therefore we would like to keep them separate.

    As we continue to evolve, we hope to expand our offerings and bring varieties that recognize every nut butter lovers needs. Feel free to drop us a message about what you would like to see in the future!

  • All our products are handmade in small quantities. We roast, blend, and jar everything manually to make sure each batch meets our high standards.

  • Yes! We love connecting with our community and often participate in local farmers' markets and food fairs. We are currently full-time vendors at Black Mountain Tailgate Market, every Saturday, and River Arts District Farmers Market, ever Wednesday. You can find us at other markets periodically. Stay updated by checking our events calendar or following us on Instagram.

  • At the moment, we don’t offer public tours. However, we’re working on creating ways for our customers to see behind the scenes digitally. Stay tuned!

  • Sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social platforms like Instagram. That’s the best way to catch new flavors, seasonal releases, and special offers.

All About Our Products

  • While all of our nuts and many of our ingredients are organic, not all our ingredients have accreditation. Many of our ingredients are sourced from native and indigenous growers, who grow using traditional and regenerative practices.

  • Refrigeration is not necessary, but for the freshest flavors, we recommend consuming within 6 months.

  • Refrigeration is not necessary. To enjoy and preserve freshness and flavor longer, store 6-8 weeks in a cool, dry space of your pantry, away from sunlight.

    Oil separation will occur over time. Stir your nut butter to reconstitute oil or rotate your storage technique regularly by placing jar upside down to force the oil to separate at the bottom of the jar, and then flip upright every other week to keep the jar naturally mixed.

  • That’s a natural sign of a high-quality product! Since we don’t use stabilizers, natural oils tend to rise. Just stir well before each use to restore its creamy texture. Alternatively, you can store you nut butter upside down to force oil separation to the bottom of the jar. Rotation between upright and upside down every week to encourage natural mixing!

  • Our flagship products are our classic line on mainstays. This means we offer these products year-round! Limited release flavors tend to be seasonal, allowing us to be creativity and bring your unique and exciting flavors that challenge the boundaries of what your nut butter can be and do for you in the kitchen. Once they're gone, they're gone! Don't worry, if you really love a flavor, we'll keep that in mind and likely bring it back next year.

  • We currently only are offering our nut based products in 6 oz jars, but will be bringing 3 oz jars to the table very soon!

  • All of our nut butters are vegan and gluten-free, while some of our other offerings are dependent on the brand. We always label allergens and dietary details clearly, so you can shop with confidence. Check the individual product pages for exact information.

  • We currently don’t offer personalized jars or custom flavors, but we love hearing your ideas. Some of our best creations started as customer suggestions!

Shipping & Delivery Info

  • Yes, we ship across the United States. We’re working on adding international delivery options soon — follow us for updates if you're outside the U.S.!

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Once shipped, they usually arrive within 3–7 business days, depending on your location and the shipping option chosen at checkout.

  • Absolutely. Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number so you can follow your delivery’s journey in real-time.

  • Please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and product. We’ll review the case and send you a replacement or refund if applicable.

  • Yes, during checkout you can choose expedited shipping for quicker delivery. Note that this option may involve extra charges based on your location.

  • All items are securely packed using recyclable, eco-conscious materials. We make sure your order arrives fresh, safe, and in perfect condition.

  • If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected window, please reach out. We’ll investigate with the carrier and make sure you’re taken care of.

  • If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can change the address. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and correct information.
