Seasonal Market Sales Representative 

Three Nuts Co is seeking an energetic and customer-focused seasonal Market Sales Representative for the holiday season. In this role, you will travel to various farmer's markets and holiday markets in the Asheville and Black Mountain area as a representative of the brand. Ideal candidates will be comfortable and enthusiastic about engaging and interacting with customers while sampling and selling our products. High performing candidates will be considered for future job opportunities in the spring if interested in continuing to work with Three Nuts Co.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and break down for market events (canopy, table setting, sampling and display).
  • Sampling products and managing a clean and organized booth throughout the day.
  • Manage merchandising efforts to create attractive displays and promote featured products.
  • Greet and help customers with professionalism and enthusiastic engagement.
  • Sharing product knowledge and recommendations to shoppers.
  • Operate Square POS, handling sales transactions accurately and recording product sales throughout the day.
  • Follow food safety and handling procedures both in the kitchen and at market.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation that can fit market kit (canopy, bins, display components and product).
  • Must be able to lift ~30 lbs
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash register operations, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers accurately.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle retail sales confidently and courteously.
  • Knowledge or experience of food safety, a plus.

Pay, Hours & Benefits

  • 5-10 hrs/week
  • ~$20/hr (Team members are paid for the hour before and hour after an event-- depending on the person, this can realistically work out to $22-23/hr)
